As you know, your bachelors in alternative medicine is not accepted in the US as such. It's accepted as a bachelors degree, but not in medicine. So before you take an MS in healthcare administration, please do what I'd call "informational interviews" with some hiring managers in that field, at the hospitals at which you volunteer. Ask them if you can make an appointment with them to discuss healthcare admin careers, what's required to enter that field, and etc. Usually, if you're polite about this, they will give you 15 minutes. During your meeting with them, ask them if your bachelors in alternative medicine from your country would make it so that you can't get hired into a US hospital, period. Ask them to please speak frankly. You need to know where you stand. I ask you to do this because I fear that if your degree field is not considered a science in the US, you won't get hired into a hospital at all. So you need to know where you stand before you go on for this masters degree. It is true that because you don't have any business experience, your having difficulty finding a job with your MBA. However, I'd have you focus on trying for entry-level positions that require college degrees (not MBAs), and look for those jobs with pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Perhaps customer service, for example; or sales. You'd start there, and work your way up – and as you try to work your way up, that's where your MBA would come into play. Once you've worked there for a bit, and they like you, you can use your MBA to advance. Continue to use the resources available to you via the career center at your MBA school. In addition, network within your hospitals. Make sure everyone you know there knows you would like to work at that hospital doing any desk job. Apply for every "desk" – type job that comes open there – you need to get your foot in the door doing *something*, and then try to work your way up from there. 1 year ago Thank you.Your suggestion about me apporaching the hiring manager of the hospital for advice was great.I never thought of that. Thanks again.Error processing request

Consider racial imbalances in education, the economy, family life, housing, criminal justice, health care, and
- Chosen by Voters I am trying to figure out in what sort of class this would be asked. I'll suggest the major problem affecting all these areas is culture. Something to ponder: Many Korean families come to the US with very little. They move to poor, urban neighborhoods and open small businesses. They struggle with English. No one gives them anything. They work constantly and live simply. Their children go to college and become engineers, doctors, lawyers, etc. One generation. 4 years ago 100% 1 Vote

Is there any country in the world other than Cuba which offers free education and health care to its citizens?
- Chosen by Voters Many. Start with the Nordic countries, Ireland, Austria, Monaco, Lichtenstein, New Zealand (there have been reforms to schooling), Australia (school isn't free but it is about 1/10 the cost), S. Korea, China, India, etc etc etc. After seeing some of the comments, I find it amusing that the America is #1 crowd always use backwater 3rd world countries to make the point. The U.S. ranks 34th in health care, 18th in overall education, even the Czech Republic has better education and Indonesia has a better health system. And as far as whether or not it cost anything keep in mind that 2.2 million Americans file bankruptcy every year due to medical concerns, and the U.S. has the most expensive ($6,500 per person) health care in the world, twice that of the next most expensive country (France $3,600 also ranked the best health care in the world). Is it free? No but it is half and 18x better.Funny nobody wants to touch education, obviously educated in the states, let me help here also. Free education in the states means that 1/3 of students do not graduate. Free education in the states cost more than every other country with the exception of Switzerland with dismal results comparatively speaking, they rank 2nd in the world, math, and reading. The U.S. ranks 18th and 24th. The U.S. spends more on schooling and gets the worst results of any nation on the planet.Would you like to Super size that? It may cause a bankruptcy but hey at least we live in the greatest country (18th) in the world. Right? 3 years ago 18% 38 Votes 5 people rated this as good

Why is it beneficial for students to learn about sex education in highschool as oppose to talking to parents?
- Chosen by Voters Absolutely NOT!The schools started to incorporate a sex education class into their schedule and teen pregnancies aren't going down, they are going up!What gives? Parents should be the ones who step forward and take the time to educate their children on this very sensitive, personal and special matter. Having it taught by a teacher in a classroom full of other students, makes them uncomfortable and ultimately causes the desensitizing of "sexual experiences". The more the public schools mass educate, the less educated our students graduate!! 4 years ago 67% 2 Votes
